“Produced Documentary for best initiative”

Creative Media Limited has produced eight documentary films on citizen service issues. The theme was best/innovative practices in Pourashavas under UGIIP-II Project of GIZ.

Basically, GIZ works with Government of Bangladesh in order to illustrate the success stories as well as to reach the messages to the target audiences. As a result, the secondary target audiences can cooperate with the primary audiences, or vice-versa. And the stories of good and innovative practices can be adapted and replicated to the other peer pourashavas. Creative media limited has successfully picked up the best illustration of five pourashavas. They are Natore, Jhalkati, Jamalapur, Faridpur and Chandpur.

Thus, these documentary films are expected to sensitize and act as the eye opener for the audiences to make them proactive to initiate good practices in their own contexts aiming to ensure good services for the urban citizens.

The documentaries have produced in the context of pourashavas. The themes are; in time attendance, Debt free pourashavas, uninterrupted water supply, safe disposal of wastage, biogas plant, women empowerment in pourashavas, information and resource pool, effective town level coordination committee, pourashava is for excluded people.

The documentary is screened on the Mayor’s conference held in cox's bazar at last month. Our produced documentary is highly appreciated by the govt. authority, local and international bodies.
